 | Netflix has picked up Black Mirror for Season 3 after acquiring series from Channel 4, RadioTimes reports:
"The streaming giant is understood to have agreed terms with Brooker and his independent production company House of Tomorrow to make "multiple episodes" of the dystopian drama, according to sources involved in the negotiations.
As RadioTimes revealed in May, Netflix was in talks with Brooker and House of Tomorrow over a possible deal, which has reportedly progressed. It is understood that Brooker is currently writing scripts for a new run of the Channel 4-originated drama which explores the dark and troubling aspects of technology."

 | CBS is getting out from Under The Dome. The network has cancelled the serial adaptation of Stephen King's novel after three seasons.
The network announced the series will end with its Sept. 10 finale, promising closure to the storyline after deciding not to stretch the plot into Season 4.
Said CBS chief Nina Tassler:
"Two years ago, Under the Dome broke new ground in the summer and became an instant hit on CBS, as well as with viewers around the world. Dome's event storytelling and multi-platform business model paved the way for more original summer programming with the successful rollouts of Extant and Zoo. We're excited to present the final chapter in Chester's Mill as the story comes full circle, with the Dome coming down as dramatically as it went up." |
