Haven canceled - no season 6 | 2015-08-24 by thepoperope | Haven | discuss | | Syfy canceled Haven theWrap reported.
Did you guys go into this season as if it were the last?
"We are looking at our final episodes coming up. We approached as if it was going to be our final season, so we were ready for it story-wise. But you never know. If a million people watch, maybe we can do something about that… But we had an idea that it might be [the final season]. I'm sure as a fellow TV fan, there's nothing more annoying than when a show kind of feels like it might be wrapping up, but they just don't address it, they don't come to any kind of satisfying conclusion. I always think that's cheating the audience a little bit, of a nice satisfying ending. So we really looked at these 13 episodes as if… If we were indeed going to end, what would be the best ending we could possibly do for Haven?"
What about the possibility of the show going to another network or a streaming service like Netflix?
"I'm sure that [the show's production companies] eOne and Piller/Segan/Shepard are out there looking at that option, which is out there now. It's so cool, that that option now exists where it never used to. I can't speak to it personally because I'm not involved in those discussions."

| Da Vinci's Demons ends with season 3 | 2015-07-24 by thepoperope | Da Vincis Demons | discuss | | Da Vinci's Demons is coming to an end.
Starz' historical fantasy thriller revealing the "untold" story of Leonardo da Vinci (Tom Riley) will conclude with its upcoming third season, EW has learned exclusively.
But there is some good news, as well: Starz has decided to premiere the new season relatively soon â" in October. Plus we have the final season trailer and key art (both are below).
"While ending Leonardo's journey is bittersweet for me, I'm happy we're ending the story on a high note," said series creator and executive producer David S. Goyer. "Leonardo was famous for his mirror-writing, and there's a symmetry to the entire seriesâ"between the first episode and the final oneâ"that I think the maestro would have appreciated. I want to thank our dedicated fans around the world for viewing and engaging with such passion. I want to thank Starz for joining me on this crazy romp. And I want to thank Tom Riley for turning in a consistently brilliant performance. It's no small feat to portray a genius, but Tom did it with grace and humor. I hope everyone enjoys these final episodes as much as we enjoyed making them."
